Small apps that fix
small annoyances.

I'm a DevOps engineer by day. When something on my machine keeps bugging me, I build a tiny tool to fix it. This is where I share them.

About

DevOps by trade, toolmaker by habit

I run infrastructure for a living — Kubernetes clusters on DigitalOcean, AWS and bare metal, the observability stacks that watch them, and the pipelines that move data between them.

That work teaches you to notice friction. A key that fires the wrong shortcut, a step you repeat twenty times a day, a thing the OS should do but doesn't. Most people shrug. I open an editor.

The apps here are the ones that turned out useful enough to clean up and share. Each does one thing, runs natively, and stays out of your way.

How I build

Rules every app here follows

  1. 01

    One job

Each app solves exactly one problem. If it needs a settings screen, it's probably two apps.

  2. 02

    Native and small

Written for the platform in the platform's language. Launches instantly, uses almost no memory, and looks like it belongs.

  3. 03

    Private by default

No accounts, no analytics, no phoning home. If an app needs a permission, the reason is written right there in plain words.

  4. 04

    Free or honestly priced

Most tools are free. When one costs money, it's a one-time price with no subscription.

Found a bug, have an idea, or just want to talk infra?

I read everything. Replies may take a few days — there's a cluster somewhere that needs attention.
